We’ve built spaces and partnered with the WakerSpace, the Documentary Film Program, Wake Downtown’s Innovation Studio, the Film and Media Studies Program, and the Faculty Commons to support your Studio projects. Whether you’re editing video, recording audio, building a digital portfolio, or crafting a multimedia presentation, this page is your go-to for reserving spaces equipped with the digital tools and support you need across campus.

Studio Spaces

Podcasting Station

Produce high‑quality audio projects using professional equipment like the RØDECaster Duo, ideal for interviews, storytelling, and collaborative podcasts.

Editing Workstations

The Studio contains six fully upgraded Mac computers with Adobe Creative Cloud software including Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Express, Lightroom, Firefly, Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition. You will also have access to any software being used by a course that the Studio is supporting. This is shared space, so for audio or video editing please bring headphones.

Groupwork Stations

The Studio has two tables for up to 6 people to collaborate on digital projects and initiatives.

You are welcome to set up meetings for digital group projects in this space.

One Button Studio

The One Button Studio at Wake Forest University is a fully automated video production facility designed for ease of use and high-quality results. Equipped with green and blue screen capabilities, it provides a versatile environment for creating a wide range of projects, including video presentations, podcasts, interviews, language practice, and more.

Partner Spaces

WakerSpace

The WakerSpace features a dedicated podcasting station equipped with Blue Yeti microphones and Audacity recording software. Designed to support both individual and group projects, the space offers multiple microphone configurations and computer access, making it an excellent resource for producing high-quality team podcasts.

Faculty Commons Studio

The Faculty Commons Studio is a production facility designed to support professional-quality projects developed in the classroom. The studio is equipped with green screen technology, advanced audio and video recording equipment, and a Mac-based editing station, providing faculty and students with the tools needed to create polished, high-impact digital content.  Access to this space is limited and has to be booked by faculty or with special permission from the Studio team.

The Innovation Studio

A makerspace designed to give students hands-on experience with industry-grade tools and fabrication equipment for 3D-printing, vinyl cutting, laser printers, wood cutting, and more.
